Mamtor will be in attendance, to promote its flagship anthology book Event Horizon and Matt Boyce's Humour comic 'Life is Humiliation'. Event Horizon features work by many people. 'LIfe is Humilaition' features work solely by Matt Boyce who is in no way shape or form an Industry Pro, but he is afraid of Bananas and Sea Life.

Mr Maximo and Rabbit are set to return with a new short comic book in March in time for 'The THING'. Bridgeen Gillespie, creator of various random small press comics is here as a first time exhibitor at the Thing 2006.

Tales From The Flat

A Mad Tea Party
A Mad Tea-Party is one of a couple of ongoing comics projects by ex-pat Canadian Jonathon Dalton. It is a slighty unusual science fiction story about two sisters trapped in a web of Japanese politics, alien intrigue, and out-of-context poetry.
Mindlube
Mindlube Productions, established 2004 by Lord RSB and Greynolds (later incorporating Huge Grant), have been creating various comic/zine projects over the last year-or-so, until this time only distributed (unwullingly to family and friends) in their hometown.
One For Sorrow
I'm hoping to shift a few copies of my 800 page comic book story (sold in separate 100 page episodes) recently reviewed and recommended on a yahoo groups forum by Dave Sim, creator of Cerebus. I will also have copies of my autobiographical work for sale and will be signing and doing sketches on request.
I Thought Of It First
ITOIFP, Mike & Mal - Two artists, many comics, one table.. because we're both too cheap to spring for a whole one.. Casual violence and irreverence with strong social messages, way out sci-fi fantasies and general piss-taking from a couple of flamers who have nothing better to do an a Saturday morning.

After over a year of being online, I decided to take the plunge and get a table at my first Comix Thing. I'm not sure what to expect, but I hope to meet other fine authors/artists, get boot_error 'out there' and perhaps sell some stuff in the process. Although it still doesn't change the fact I'm nervous to the bone.
Beaver & Steve
James Turner is a philosopher and a gentleman, but when he sobers up he also draws a comic called Beaver and Steve. This year at the Thing he will be selling various geegaws including (hopefully!) the first ever collected Beaver and Steve book. He also requests that visitors bring him biscuits (he prefers ones with chocolate on).
Underfire & Zarjaz
Underfire Comics are based in Brighton and have been publishing independent comics for over three years. We produced the mini-series Operation: Black Jet and Dream Time as well as five issues of the anthology series Rapid Fire.
Studio Blink Twice
The Blink Twice circus rolls into the Mini Comix Thang! The team will be bringing their usual huge stock of Malcolm Magic and Tusk back issues, as well as a whole slew of new stuff, including a special sketchbook just for the con, and the release of the third Malcolm Magic trade!

Stuff Sucks
Liz Greenfield is from Holland. When she isn't being ridiculed for having a best friend who is a windmill, she is drawing comics. Stuff Sucks is an ongoing tale based on a record shop. It's packed with satire, slapstick, and probably other humorous devices. But those will be surprises. Come by the booth if you like human interaction and buying things!
Vented Spleen
Ventedspleen, author of the heart-warming and life-affirming 'Art school scum' and 'You're wrong' comics, has enjoyed little to no popular interest in his work. Sadly for the rest of the world, this has failed to stop him producing further vitriolic trash. His new comic - 'How to date a girl in 10 days' - (currently being serialized on his website) will be exclusively for sale at the Thing '06.
Tozzer
Rob & Pete formed Ablaze Media in 2002, and their first title was the graphic novel "Tozzer and the Invisible Lap Dancers", Thei new graphic novel "Tozzer2: Special Edition" has just been released. The Tozzer comics are fun filled slices of biting pop culture.
HousD
Third time lucky Ali Graham will be back to showcase the latest releases from HOUSD.
